I would very much like to make an excuse for the water taxi, but the fact is, I had no way to get home.
That's all I got.
Updating to Add: It was an afternoon game, not a night game so it didn't run late. I must have misread the sign in the window and misheard the announcement. Oh well. I'll just make sure to triple check next time.

No excuse if there was a sign that said it was running late on that night, but just to confirm, it was a 3:40pm game yesterday and not a 7:10pm game. I'm pretty sure the taxi only runs late on evening games. But, if there was a sign that said it would run late on 4/14/09 then I would contact King County or Argosy.
oh nooo!
You're absolutely right now that I check the home game schedule, which I did before but clearly misread the time. There was a sign in the window of the boat with a lot of words about running late on April 14, but well, without seeing it again I can't tell you where I went wrong. I also rode the boat in the morning and could've sworn the announcement said there was a game in the evening and it'd be running late, but then again, maybe they said afternoon. I'm much more willing to give it the benefit of the doubt now than I was last night. Oh well. Adventure.
I happen to know some people down there, as you know, and I asked about this. They did announce that they would be running "a couple" of extra runs for the Mariners game, but not all since it was a 3:40pm game....
Ah. Well, chalk it up to pre-coffee confusion on my part then. I heard extra runs and Mariners game and made an incorrect assumption. Thanks for asking.
I took the water taxi last night and this morning and it was stellar as usual.
