As you can see, it's business as usual around here. Other things I've done this week: hired an arborist to trim our trees later in the month, ordered currency for my various worldly adventures, and recorded a podcast.
Now I need to write down a story that's in my head. Toodles.

Ooooh, where are you traveling?
Canada for World Fantasy and later to Spain and Portugal. :)
Hi, Folly. Darren here. How've you been?
Hi, Darren.
I'm doing well. Thanks for asking. :)
But...I know a few people named Darren now and I don't want to mix you up. So I will try guessing first. Is this the Darren I met at WHC with Richard?
Folly
That's the one.
The story in your head -- did you write it?
Excellent! I was just thinking about you. I recently picked up a copy of Borderlands 2 and saw your story inside. I haven't read it yet, but the book is in my to-read pile.
As for the story in my head: I am working on the story on another screen. About two-thirds through the first draft and I plan to have the first draft finished tomorrow.
How have you been? I looked for you online but wasn't successful in finding you.
I don't have much of an online presence, I guess, but I do have a message board at Horror World. You can hear crickets over there -- not much else.
Borderlands 2, eh? I cringe a little bit when I think of my story in that one...
Let me know how your story comes out, ok?
