As it was I lost $2 over it. (They offered refunds but the lines were long and I was impatient after a day at the Tibet Fest.) We watched the monorail pull out of the station and minutes later heard the technical difficulty announcement...

Wow! Seattle is such a small town. I was at a party yesterday and met someone who was stuck on that monorail. She was there with her two kids. Sounded like no fun.
Ugh, I know! We walked under it on our way back to Pike. The windows were open and people were halfway hanging out. Lots of sirens zooming around but none of them seemed headed that way. And it was really packed with people. No fun at all.
